Background

Deep Eddy Psychotherapy is a psychotherapy practice in Austin, TX that provides a wide range of psychological services through a team of more than 140 clinicians. In order to keep our clinical work running smoothly, we need experts who can scrupulously help us ensure the accuracy of all things related to our billing and credentialing. We are looking for someone who is passionate about mental health care and can help meet some of the unmet credentialing management needs of our growing practice.

Job Description

The Credentialing Specialist is in charge of onboarding new clinicians and managing / supporting our revenue generated from our services. You will support our Director of Credentialing in handling onboarding and credentialing of new clinicians on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

This role involves assisting the Director of Credentialing in their role, which includes:

  • Serving as point of contact for all credentialing matters
  • Onboarding and credentialing all new clinicians
  • Communicate with clinicians regarding credentialing status
  • Tracking license renewals
  • Support with contracting of new insurance companies
  • Maintain internal spreadsheets and reference documents for clinicians

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate for this position will have knowledge and skills regarding the following:

  • Credentialing experience
  • EHR systems and Google Drive (our primary collaboration tool)
  • Communication with clinicians, clients, and insurance companies via phone

We are also looking for someone with some education and work experience:

  • Credentialing experience (1 year)
  • Working with health insurance companies

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting salary $48,000/year
